Snake Head Bumble Bee Jasper

Massive snake heads carved from Javanese Bumble Bee Jasper… it’s a mineral formed by volcanic explosions (it’s actually a calcite rather than a jasper coloured by orpiment). I have set faceted citrine in some of their eyes and others with opals.
