Vegetable Ivory

Vegetable Ivory comes from a seed of a tropical palm tree that grows wild in the Amazon rainforest.

Each piece has been skillfully carved by our team of master craftsmen in Bali who previously used deer horn, mammoth, walrus and ivory.

By substituting renewable ‘Vegetable’ Ivory for its animal counterpart, we encourage the continuation of traditional craftsmanship without the needless destruction of wildlife.

Each piece has its own unique character  No two are quite the same
