This skull is hand-carved from Moroccan Satin Spar, commonly referred to as Selenite (which technically is a slightly different formation of Gypsum)
Satin spar has a silky, satiny appearance, often with a cat's-eye effect when viewed through a light source.
I am now making these in a variety of sizes according to the rough material I receive.
