This Cobra looks coiled for the attack, hood flared and ready to strike, or spit. We have spitting cobras occasionally come visit us at home; I remember one crawling over my son's leg when he was still small. Some King Cobras grow to over 15' long and all Cobras are extremely venomous.
Snakes are traditionally associated with transformation, sexual energy, and sweet temptations...or all three together if you're lucky!
