Trilobite Pendant

Trilobites are an ancient marine animal that flourished some 500 million years ago, and swam around for over 200 million years until The Great Dying. They only exist now is a multitude of fossil remains. They were composed of many diverse types of arthropods but they all get their names from having three lobes ( tri lob) to their body structure. They are probably most closely related to modern horse shoe crabs, and they molted their exoskeletons, like lobsters.
