This amulet is more correctly called a Phurba (or Kila). It symbolizes the masculine aspect of creation, or a lightning bolt, used for illumination and also as an irresistible force cutting through ignorance. It can be used for purification and clearing of negative energies, and in shamanic helaing. We like to use it to aid Decisiveness, to be dedicated and to overcome obstacles.
It originated from the Himalayan mountains in the animist Bon tribes, before Tibetan Buddhism arrived, and is used in both Hindu and Buddhist religions to represent dedication and spiritual power.
