In Norse mythology, Valhalla is the heavenly hall ruled by Odin for those who have fallen with valour in combat. It is a place of honour, virtue, and courage where the gorgeous Valkyries attend to the slain. That's some incentive to go into battle. Vikings would say, "It's a good day to die" before battle...very present and ready...Remember, it's an excellent day to Live too!
