This Heraldic Pendant was inspired by a trip around the medieval castles of Germany and France. It has been used as the symbol of many Empires (from the Russian and Spannish through to the Byzantine) and stands for the ruler of the Heavens, both physically and religiously. That aside, it made me think of jousting, chivalry and fair maidens!
