Ammonite Wired Pendant

This ancient sea creature was once the dominant species on Earth, masters of the oceans for 100 million years. These fossils come from Madagascar and the natural spirals are hand carved down to give them greater dimensionality. They have lustrous pearls for their eyes. The unfolding spiral itself is found throughout nature, and is known as the Divine proportion, or mathematically as the Fibonacci series, and is widely used in art, architecture and music. This model comes with stylised wire tentacles... quite a spin.

It is hand crafted from Sterling Silver and is stamped on the back with the Mercurious name and logo and 925 to guarantee authenticity.
